SOL Letter

Letter 


There’s a saying although I don’t know who said it, it struck me. “Letters are among the most significant memorial a person can leave behind them.”. In this case it is very true, in fact multiple students my age are probably waiting for a very important letter, it’s either a letter of rejection or a letter of achievement. Highschool options are debatable for me as of now, I’m undecided and don’t know what to do.

I know I talk about art and say it’s amazing, and trust me it is, but is it something I want to do? Right in this very moment I’d say no. I was hoping I wouldn’t make it into the academy so I have an excuse not to go. Most people tell me to shadow a year and see what it’s like, sounds great right? Well I mean if I don’t like it I just return to to another school right? It’s not as simple as it seems, in fact it’s far from simple. If I return to the school then I have to go to regular classes rather than honors or AP, I basically fall behind. Overall I just want to celebrate on the fact that I got excepted into an art school.

In 10 years from now I would like to go to John Hopkins university and get a bachelors degree, major in neuroscience and minor in biology. Since John Hopkins university is in Baltimore I want to have a house in Baltimore with my sister and cousin. Along with that idea I want to have two dogs, don't know what dogs I want but I really like malamutes and huskies. Even though I want to live with my family I want to be independent, such as making my own money paying all these different things that my parents pay, well maybe not that independent but live as an adult. A Delightful Day

On January 25th, 2017 it was going to be a very joyful day. It was 7:00 pm, I stood in the freezing weather with a big smile on my face. Next to me stood my sister Nazareth, and my cousin Desiree. We were outside Rosemont Theatre waiting for the doors to open as well as the line to shorten, my favorite band Got7 was inside the venue. Around 7:30 pm we were inside the venue making our way towards our seats. Nazareth took the first seat Desiree took the third, and I took the second. As I looked up from my seat I saw the stage and my heart stopped, it was the closest I have ever been out of all of my concerts. When the members entered the stage I could feel my palms sweating and the adrenaline in my veins. Everyone else started jumping and chanting for Got7. Then there was me, I was dumbfounded staring at each member. My thoughts were shortly interrupted as I felt a soft tap on my right shoulder, I turned to the right where Nazareth was, "Mark is speaking." she said. I turn

SOL Graduation Pictures are Right around the Corner

Graduation Pictures are right around the Corner I know that graduation from middle school and heading on to high school is fun, especially when you applied to a private school, right? I know this is such a cliché thing to say but ... I am not ready to go to highschool. I’m not going to drop out so don’t worry, it’s just that a I’m scared of what the future may hold. I applied to an art school and made my parents pay plenty of money for application and art supplies as well as my teachers fill out recommendation letters [more like recommendation essays]. I feel bad about wasting their time because I don’t even know if I want to go. So I am definitely having second thoughts.
