Life is Beautiful


“Life is Beautiful”, is truly a heartbreaking movie. Although we have gone to the museum, the movie had a really large impact. Watching a story even if it’s not entirely a true story had a very strong impact, because it feels as if you’re going through an adventure with them because you don’t know what to expect. I think the ending was really powerful, and it made me feel irritated and upset. In the story there’s a mom, father, and son, both the father and son are Jewish while the mother is not. Although she could have stayed and live a life without the labor, she chose to go with them because she loves her son and her husband as well. At the end the father died the night before American soldiers came to save the Jews and others. It’s sad to think if only he could have lived one more day, not even a day but for a few more hours, he could have been with his son and his wife who he loved so dearly.

A Delightful Day

On January 25th, 2017 it was going to be a very joyful day. It was 7:00 pm, I stood in the freezing weather with a big smile on my face. Next to me stood my sister Nazareth, and my cousin Desiree. We were outside Rosemont Theatre waiting for the doors to open as well as the line to shorten, my favorite band Got7 was inside the venue. Around 7:30 pm we were inside the venue making our way towards our seats. Nazareth took the first seat Desiree took the third, and I took the second. As I looked up from my seat I saw the stage and my heart stopped, it was the closest I have ever been out of all of my concerts. When the members entered the stage I could feel my palms sweating and the adrenaline in my veins. Everyone else started jumping and chanting for Got7. Then there was me, I was dumbfounded staring at each member. Graduation Pictures are right around the Corner I know that graduation from middle school and heading on to high school is fun, especially when you applied to a private school, right? I know this is such a cliché thing to say but ... I am not ready to go to highschool. I’m not going to drop out so don’t worry, it’s just that a I’m scared of what the future may hold. I applied to an art school and made my parents pay plenty of money for application and art supplies as well as my teachers fill out recommendation letters [more like recommendation essays]. I feel bad about wasting their time because I don’t even know if I want to go. So I am definitely having second thoughts.
