My Priceless Painting 


My priceless Painting is a painting that I did last year in one of my art classes, it’s a painting of a mountain and tree, it was an art project that’s valuable to me because it has color. Color matters because I personally don’t enjoy using it in my art because I think it’s a very risky move especially when you can easily mess it up. Most of my art pieces are in black and white because I think it’s a lot more realistic and it’s easier to use rather than coloring the art pieces. A message I learned from this simple painting is that even though you’re going to make mistakes and errors you can learn from them and apply them to your life. After painting this, I realized that even though it didn’t come out as I wanted I can learn different techniques and use them in my other paintings, rather than not trying because I am afraid to make mistakes.

The painting above was done by me, it was actually one of the first art classes that I took in a while because I didn’t realize that I had a passion for art. Another reason by this is important to me is because it made me realize that I have a passion for art. This has had a huge affect on me because the high school that I am going to be applying to is an art school. This is actually a very nervous choice that I am making because I don’t really share what I want to do or get out of my comfort zone and try applying to a school. I don’t know if I’ll make it in or not because it seems like such an advanced school and I don’t know much or have much experience in art. Due to this simple painting I have learned great and valuable lessons which is why this is my priceless painting.

Life is Beautiful “Life is Beautiful”, is truly a heartbreaking movie. Although we have gone to the museum, the movie had a really large impact. Watching a story even if it’s not entirely a true story had a very strong impact, because it feels as if you’re going through an adventure with them because you don’t know what to expect. I think the ending was really powerful, and it made me feel irritated and upset. In the story there’s a mom, father, and son, both the father and son are Jewish while the mother is not. Although she could have stayed and live a life without the labor, she chose to go with them because she loves her son and her husband as well. At the end the father died the night before American soldiers came to save the Jews and others. It’s sad to think if only he could have lived one more day, not even a day but for a few more hours, he could have been with his son and his wife who he loved so dearly.

I’m Taken Away by This Book

I’m Taken Away by This Book Today’s book blog is on Taken by Erin Bowman, it’s one of my favorite books by far. Basically it falls under the genre of young adult, science fiction, and adventure fiction. The main character is Gray who’s 17 and he has an older brother who shares the same birthday but they were born on separate years. Blaine his older brother is older by a year and turns 18 in the first chapter. In the book any male who turns 18 is taken away by a council called the heist, which means they are never to be seen or heard from ever again.  In this chapter the town is prepping for the ceremony since every 18 year old male gets taken away on their birthday. No one has ever escaped the heist and no matter what they try they never will. After the whole incident where Blaine gets taken away, very interesting events occur.
