A Jolly Day


What exactly is Christmas to me? Christmas is a time of joy. Being surrounded by the lightly scented candles which bring a nice aroma into the room. The tree appears to be a painting. The tree brightens up the room as it displays ornaments that have been used for centuries with new added touches. The lights in the tree are bright and colorful as they reflect off the smiles in the room. To finish the painting a star is placed above the tip of the tree, illuminating bright lights. Beneath are the presents. The presents have different wrappings and bag decorations. Everyone is expecting grandma’s signature present. Before tearing the presents apart our family enjoys a feast together. Every year is different, you don’t know what to expect for dinner. As time goes on we fufill our tradition. Opening presents every hour. The family huddles around the tree. The Christmas music fills the air as the subtle sound of wrappings being torn slightly invade. The brightness of smiles in the room outshine the lights. Everyone is hoping to get the present they really wished for from their parents. The night then advances to morning, as people wake up from a dream obtained with pure love and sweetness.

A Delightful Day

On January 25th, 2017 it was going to be a very joyful day. It was 7:00 pm, I stood in the freezing weather with a big smile on my face. Next to me stood my sister Nazareth, and my cousin Desiree. We were outside Rosemont Theatre waiting for the doors to open as well as the line to shorten, my favorite band Got7 was inside the venue. Around 7:30 pm we were inside the venue making our way towards our seats. Nazareth took the first seat Desiree took the third, and I took the second. As I looked up from my seat I saw the stage and my heart stopped, it was the closest I have ever been out of all of my concerts. 10 Years from Now

In 10 years from now I would like to go to John Hopkins university and get a bachelors degree, major in neuroscience and minor in biology. Since John Hopkins university is in Baltimore I want to have a house in Baltimore with my sister and cousin. Along with that idea I want to have two dogs, don't know what dogs I want but I really like malamutes and huskies. Even though I want to live with my family I want to be independent, such as making my own money paying all these different things that my parents pay, well maybe not that independent but live as an adult. All in all I want to be very successful in life. (There not mine, but they’re extremely cute)

Oh My Gods I Love This Book!!! Oh My Gods is about a girl named Phoebe Castro. Phoebe is a runner, she takes this trait from her father. Phoebe  lives with her mom in Los Angeles, her father passed away when she was younger. She’s on the cross country team and she waiting for a scholarship and exception from USC (University of Southern California).
